Trends in balcony enclosures without vertical frame

The trendy technology of recent years is frameless balcony glazing. This technology is believed to be Finnish. But Finnish manufacturers admit they borrowed innovation from their German neighbors.

And the Germans? And here it turns out that they, in turn, adopted the idea invented ten years ago by our craftsmen. It's true? It's hard to judge. But at least such rumors persist among specialists who are professionally engaged in balcony glazing.

1. Frameless glazing is suitable for balconies of any type, shape and age, without compromising the overall appearance of the building façade.

2. The glasses in the structure move freely with special bearings. The balcony can be fully opened by moving the glass sheets to the side, turning them towards the wall or folding them with a "book"

3. The frameless glazing system uses 6-8-10mm special tempered glass as standard. This glass is safe: if, God forbid, it breaks, it will not stick out with sharp edges, but will smoothly crumble, turning into small "cubes". However, it can break if only hit on purpose with a hammer. After all, hardened means higher breaking strength.
4. The balcony with frameless glazing is reliably protected from noise, rain and dirt.

The window frames take up little space and are securely fixed, they do not break even in strong winds. At the same time, opening and closing the balcony windows is effortless. And because they fold, they're easy to wash inside and out.

The design of the "VSP 15" system uses tempered safety glass with a thickness of 6, 8 and 10 mm, which can withstand high dynamic and wind loads. Aluminum profiles and stainless steel mechanisms ensure the resistance of the structure to atmospheric influences, which is especially important for weather, winds.
