Bioclimatic pergola: what is it and how does it work?
With the arrival of good weather, you always want to spend time outdoors, see family and friends or celebrate parties on the terrace of your house.
It is our company that will help you make all your dreams come true, our engineers will design a pergola with specific technical solutions for your terrace.
What is it?
The bioclimatic pergola represents an evolution of the traditional pergola model. It is a roof with adjustable sun protection slats, which guarantees an optimal microclimate inside its structure.
It is a solution designed to use (and respect) the environment, even during the coldest months of the year. The main objective of a bioclimatic gazebo is to protect from the sun and inclement weather, avoiding wasting energy and money in heating or cooling a specific environment.
Various models of bioclimatic pergolas can be closed laterally with the glass curtains from Cerramientos Ventasol, thus obtaining a completely isolated and comforting space in the garden or in any extra area available around the home.
Creating a bioclimatic gazebo is an eco-responsible option that can decorate hotels, solariums or swimming pools.
How does a bioclimatic pergola work?
The aluminum sheets that form the roof of the pergola first open and rotate at a certain angle, and only then move to the side, opening the pergola.
This solution allows efficient and natural ventilation by freely adjusting the light level. With one touch of the button or control panel and the roof will be completely open or closed.
Aerodynamic slats, if necessary, are assembled into a single roof, impenetrable even to heavy rain.
They are made of extruded aluminum and can be rotated up to 90 degrees. They practically do not heat up and do not emit harmful vapors.
The support beams and columns are made of high-quality aluminum coated with thermal powder paint. The fasteners are made of stainless steel.
The pergola has the highest wind resistance class on the Beaufort scale and withstands a wind force of 10.
Thanks to additional equipment such as LED lighting, smart sensors or glass enclosure that protects from wind and rain, the possibilities of use of pergolas are practically unlimited.
